Accessible mental health support through peer dialogue, expressive arts, and experiential learning. Available online and in person.
Our Approach: Mental Bytes brings dialogue, art, and lived experience together to support reflection, connection, and growth in a way that adapts to each person.
We blend existing and original methods, from dance and drawing to rhythm, music, creative writing and poetry, to give you a safe, creative, and meaningful space for discovery and reflection.
We create resources—articles, workbooks, tools—that invite growth and deepen self-understanding and resilience. Our approach is always evolving, grounded in lived experience and curiosity.
We are open to local and international collaborations with people who are passionate about mental health and arts, for working together and getting inspired from each other.
Mental Bytes is a non-governmental organization (NGO), based in Iceland, where mental health support is built on peer connection, expressive arts and shared learning. We offer education and group events that foster open discussions and creative exploration of mental health.
Our sessions encourage self-reflection, and build resilience through meaningful conversations and structured activities.
To promote mental health through community, creativity, and genuine connection—both online and in person.
A world where mental health support is as approachable and common as physical health care, fostering understanding, resilience, and connection in every community.
